As an affiliate of the Motorcycle Racing Club of WA (MCRCWA) we provide the safest and most fun you can have on two wheels in WA.

Our exciting NEW courses are designed to cater for all grades of riders from first timers to experienced track riders
and everyone in between.

Our coaching, with emphasis on safety, is by far the best in WA.

Level 1 Ride Smart:   Your introduction to the track. Improve your skills and confdence

-  offers the less experienced rider the opportunity to improve bike handling skills in a safe environment and will improve confidence & enjoyment both on and off the track

  • Riding Gear required: Gloves must be gauntlet style motorcycle gloves, motorcycle boots, calf high, Full face helmet with approved standards label affixed. Leather or reinforced material motorcycle specific jacket (no exposure of skin between jacket/pants when on motorcycle). Leather pants or Kevlar reinforced jeans or similar, no skinny leg jeans accepted.

Level 2  Track Smart:  For more experienced riders, with coaching

- offers the more experienced rider the opportunity to improve their road and track skills!

  • Riding Gear required: Helmet Full face with approved standards label affixed, Full leathers or 2 piece leathers (must zip together), motorcycle boots, calf high, Gauntlet style motorcycle gloves.

Level 3 Rideday:  For experienced riders. Enjoy the track with or without coaching. Test for your race licence.

-  for the experienced rider to enjoy the race track with as much or as little coaching as you want. Get your knee down, have some fun in a safe environment without the speed cameras. It is at this level that riders who wish to move on to Road Racing can be tested by our qualified coaches for their Race Licence.

  • Riding Gear required: Helmet Full face with approved standards label affixed, Full leathers or 2 piece leathers (must zip together), motorcycle boots, calf high, Gauntlet style motorcycle gloves.

NB: It is not a requirement to be a Motorcycling Australia (MA)  Licence holder to participate in any Training Course or hold a drivers licence

Full Day courses -

- Sign on commences 7.30am to 8.45am.
- Coaches assist riders to setup bikes and answer questions
- Rider Briefings to follow
- On track from 9.00am to 4.00pm approx. 
- Each rider participates in approx. 7 x 15 minuite sessions on the track followed by Q & A time.
- Canteen available for snacks/lunch and refreshments all day.
- We recommend you bring a water bottle for the day.

We use two exciting tracks:

Barbagallo Raceway: Located end of Wattle Ave, off Old Yanchep Rd, off Joondalup Drive (north on the Mitchell freeway) (not in 2017) Map

Collie Motorplex: Powerhouse Road, just outside the beautiful township of Collie. All courses are held here. Map

MCRCWA provides, as per Motorcycling WA (State Controlling Body) requirements, medical facilities that are operated by qualified first aid personnel including 

  • An ambulance
  • First aid vehicle
  • A medical room

Your medical details/history are completed when you book online and referred to should the need arise. We do recommend that you have ambulance cover.

Overnight Camping (and hot showers) available on site, compliments MCRC and SWM.
